Toll-Free Services allow your customers to conveniently place telephone calls into your business from any phone number in Puerto Rico, U.S. or U.S. Virgin Islands, no charge to them. Usage is charged to your number, instead. Toll-Free Services are widely used to allow easy and free access to businesses for the purpose of customer care, service, sales and other.

How Does It Work?
So-called Responsible Organizations(Resp Org’s), as authorized by the customer, play an important role in the provision of Toll-Free Services. The Resp Org, typically the service provider, manages the process surrounding the number administration, receives toll-free traffic originated on other providers’ network and ensures termination of traffic to the proper destination.

Calls to toll-free numbers may be translated to a regular telephone number or to switch and trunk groups, for termination over dedicated access facilities to large contact centers.
